ImageFIRST attends ASPS Show, Chicago

David Burnette, Vice President of Business Development

On November 1st – 4th ImageFIRST exhibited at the MGMA show Chicago, IL. David Burnette, Vice President of Business Development and Aaron Rahn, Sales Representative in Chicago, IL attended the show. Although there are many out there that would argue that David or Aaron could benefit from a little plastic surgery I can assure you there no were tummy tucks, face lifts, or breast augmentations done at the show!

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), established in 1931, is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. The annual show was attended by 1,984 doctors, 533 residents, 950 office managers and administrators, nurses and exhibitors. Plastic Surgery continues to be a growing segment in healthcare. According to ASPS statistics there were 11.8 million cosmetic procedures performed in 2007. This was a 7% increase from 2006. From 2000 – 2007 the number of procedures increased a whopping 59% with $12.4 billion spent on cosmetic procedures. With this much money being spent on plastic surgery it is no surprise that this is a huge opportunity for ImageFIRST.
