At ImageFIRST, we make community service a priority. In addition to our individual locations continuously finding ways to give back, our company comes together as a whole once a year to contribute to our annual Community Giving Day.
The first of three community giving events planned for our ImageFIRST Corporate Office during the summer of 2017 recently took place on July 26th in Philadelphia, PA. Our corporate associates volunteered at Cradles to Crayons for a half day of work aimed at helping out the children of our next generations.
Too many families struggle just to pay rent, groceries, and gas for the week. Sparing $20 for an extra outfit or new shoes for school just isn't an option for some parents, regardless of how desperately they would love to support their children. That’s why organizations like Cradles to Crayons and exist, and why we’re grateful for the opportunity to help.
For students across the nation, summer offers a brief respite from their academic regimen. But once it’s time to go back to school, many families are unable to afford the necessary supplies that their students will need to be successful. However, they’re not without help: For the third year in a row, ImageFIRST is hosting a nationwide Backpack Donation Drive to help students to be prepared for the new school year.
At ImageFIRST, we believe there is more to life than just coming to work and completing your task for the day. That’s why our purpose is to build a truly great company that has a positive impact on our associates, our community, our customers, and their patients. As part of our ongoing efforts to support our communities, each of our locations participates in a charitable event on a quarterly basis.
ImageFIRST associates wholeheartedly believe that community engagement is integral for any company that wants to play a productive and positive role in their place of business. After all, not only does volunteer service make a positive impact on the community, but it also helps to enrich our own associates.
All in all, there are only upsides in giving back. That’s an idea that Ronald McDonald House knows through and through. Last month, we were happy to take our medical linen service hats off for a few hours to go help the selfless folks at Ronald McDonald House.
At ImageFIRST, we celebrate our associates and promote a thriving work environment through engaging team building activities. Just last month, our Corporate Office challenged associates to a competitive team building game.
At ImageFIRST, our team is also our family. Spending hours upon hours each week with our fellow associates, we look to strengthen our bonds with one another to further grow our capabilities. At the heart of our purpose is our associates, the people who work to provide the healthcare industry with linen service that changes how patients see the facilities they receive care in.
At ImageFIRST, we believe that making a small change in our community has a big impact on everyone. On a regular basis, ImageFIRST associates across the country work not only in the healthcare facilities that we proudly serve, but also with the charitable organizations that help community members in our local area.
At ImageFIRST, we work to enrich our communities. By providing healthcare linen services, scrubs, gowns, cubicle curtains, medical waste removal and more to medical facilities, we’re working to improve the elements at the core of the patient experience.
Our work doesn’t end there, however. We regularly travel outside of the healthcare centers we serve to help those in need.
During the holiday season, we spend lots of time thinking about buying gifts for friends and loved ones, but it is also an important time of the year to give back. At ImageFIRST, giving back to the community is a huge part of who we are and is at the heart of our purpose.
Every quarter, each ImageFIRST location collaborates with local organizations to help friends and neighbors. We know that in order to be a truly great company, we must make a positive impact on everyone around us, including our associates, our community, our customers, and their patients.
