In the month of August, ImageFIRST set out to make a difference in the lives of the people and animals in our communities. Our company has been known since its inception to always strive to provide a better quality of life to both the patients in the facilities they serve and the communities they work in.
In the month of July, ImageFIRST went to war-- penny war, that is. Associates at the corporate office were split up into four teams and then competed for glory in the arena of charity. The four teams each had dedicated jars in which they could drop pennies to earn points toward their victory. Their competitors, however, could drop larger coins or dollars into their jars to be counted negatively against their tally. The event was fun for all involved as teams worked to build their contribution and sabotage other team’s chances.
When all was said and done from the penny war, the winning team chose Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR) as the recipient of the donation. Main Line Animal Rescue, a no-kill shelter in Southeastern Pennsylvania, was happy to receive their $500 check and linen donation on August 12th to use towards helping their rescued pets find homes.
The month of July was a busy time for charity at many of the ImageFIRST locations across the country. The corporate office, as well as many of the other locations, participated in a backpack drive to benefit school-age children. Every supply and backpack was donated to a local charity, with the corporate office donating over 100 backpacks to the Philadelphia Boys & Girls Club. The ImageFIRST associates were elated to see the looks on the children’s faces as they helped them to prepare for their upcoming school year.
