ImageFIRST Lancaster Team Participates In The United Way's "Day Of Caring"

Lynn Cepeda, Customer Care Representative, Lancaster PA

describe the imageOn Saturday September 6th, a few members of the ImageFIRST Lancaster team and their family members participated in the United Way of Lancaster County’s “Day of Caring”. The entire county and local businesses all chipped in to help those in need of an extra hand. Although they were tortured by the pelting rain drops that Hurricane Hannah brought their way, they had an amazing time!

After meeting at the Marshall Ave office at 8:00am, where Jeff Kennett, the Lancaster Service Supervisor, surprised his helpers with coffee and donuts, they headed to City Line Day Care Center and helped the staff and owners pull weeds, mulch and clean out and organize storage areas. Since it was a day care center, the kids had a great time playing on the playground equipment…even in the pouring rain!

Soaked down to their socks, they worked hard all morning and then headed to a catered lunch sponsored by the United Way, where stories of the day were shared and everyone  enjoyed each other’s company.

ImageFIRST would like to thank the following associates and their families for taking time out of their personal lives to help others:

Joe Geraghty, Jeff Kennett, Kevin Rivera, Marilyn Lopez, Benji Martinez, Lynn Cepeda, Lina Rodriguez, Diane Zartman and Cathy Boyer.

An even bigger thank you to Jeff Kennett!! Thanks for stepping up this year and organizing the entire function and of course for the coffee and donuts!

ImageFIRST provides philanthropic support to several charitable organization throughout the year, with the United Way being one of their main focuses.
