KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. – January 28, 2019 – ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists locations throughout the country participated in the company’s sixth annual “ImageFIRST Day” on Friday, January 25, 2019.
The national healthcare linen rental and laundry services provider designed the day to recognize and celebrate all ImageFIRST associates, engage in team building, and participate in community giving. Additionally, special recognition is given to associates identified as going “above and beyond” their role. The top performing associates are invited with a guest to a special trip – this year, the location is a resort in Saint-Martin.
For their community giving activity, the ImageFIRST associates at the Corporate Office worked with Impact 4 Good (www.impact4good.com), a company that runs socially conscious teambuilding programs, to plan an event that would be competitive and fun for participants, while making a difference.
The activity was entitled “Trivia Challenge – Best Meds”, with the goal of providing brightly colored superhero capes to children being treated at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Working in teams, participants engaged in a fast-paced trivia challenge-style activity that utilized a giant game board, aiming to be the first team to answer 24 questions correctly. After the challenge was completed, the teams received materials to make the superhero capes, placing inspirational messages of hope on the capes to help bring a smile to the children at the hospital. The result of their efforts was a donation of 135 brand new superhero capes and an additional $1,000 donation.

Criscuolo, Executive Director at the Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation, later added his sentiments via a heartfelt thank you letter. “Our pediatrics team was thrilled to receive the 135 superhero capes, which will bring comfort and joy to our young patients as we care for them.”
