ImageFIRST Acquires Ames Linen, Expands Service Areas in New York
National healthcare and hospitality linen services provider, ImageFIRST, expands laundry delivery and processing capabilities in New York with latest acquisition.
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., September 5, 2023 – ImageFIRST®, the leading national provider of linen, laundry, and safety & hygiene services to the healthcare sector, with a hospitality division serving select markets, announced it has completed its acquisition of Ames Linen. This acquisition has helped establish ImageFIRST as a leader in linen and laundry services in the United States, specifically in New York. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Ames Linen, founded in 1921, provides rental and laundry services for hospitality, food & beverage, and healthcare businesses throughout Upstate New York – serving several major markets such as Syracuse, Binghamton, Ithaca, and Utica – as well as the surrounding areas throughout the Finger Lakes region. The company is based in Cortland, NY.

Existing customers of Ames Linen will now be serviced by ImageFIRST, and existing associates will be retained as a part of ImageFIRST.
