ImageFIRST Volunteers at Operation Gratitude's Philadelphia Assembly Day
On Thursday, July 11, associates from the ImageFIRST Corporate and Lancaster offices joined hundreds of volunteers from local businesses, communities, first responders and their families to make over 10,000 care packages for police, fire fighters and medic.
The event was organized by Operation Gratitude https://www.operationgratitude.com/, an organization that aims to forge strong bonds between Americans and military and first responders through volunteer service projects, acts of gratitude, and meaningful engagements in communities nationwide.
ImageFIRST associates and other volunteers formed lines to pick up items including candy, tissues, and trial size samples of home care items. The bags were delivered that following day on Friday July 12 by representatives. The event was planned from 10:00-3:00 pm, but thanks to the diligence of the volunteers, all 10,000 packages were completed shortly after lunch.
The ImageFIRST Associates did a little singing, a little dancing and A LOT of community giving. "This event was super fun and really impactful," said ImageFIRST HR representative Annemarie. "The fact that total strangers took the time to show their support can make all the difference to our troops overseas and our first responders here in our community. We definitely made a huge difference here today! Keep being REMARKABLE everyone!"
